Remember when basketball players use to wear goggles (see: Horace Grant or Kareem Abdul Jabar)? Well, Amare Stoudamire was recently poked in the eye by teammate Boris Diaw and said that he's considering wearing goggles for the rest of his career. I couldn't be more excited.
Let the Amare with goggles era commence!

I'd also like to give a shot out to Lucious Harris on the face mask game. I was scared of that dude when he had that damn mask on.
Also, I'd like to point out that we're only 22 days away from opening night and just one night away from the Lakers pre-season opener. I'm not sure how much more excited I can get. I'm peaking.
I can say with 100% confidence that Kurt Rambis would not have a job, nor be a household name, if not for goggles.
